Streaming Audio

Streaming media files can use up enormous amounts of both disc space and bandwidth. Thus preparing audio for streaming over an IP network (the Internet) is a compromise between quality and file size. The quality of the original audio source is also a factor to consider.

For a suitable stream specification for most uses, see below.
Note: This results in a file size of approximately 1mb / min.

Essential Audio Player JS is a simple, clean and minimal JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS web audio player with no unnecessary controls. This is by far the easiest to setup and use web audio player I have found.
